Emergency Appoinment

You may need an emergency dental appointment to address sudden dental issues such as severe toothaches, broken teeth, or injuries to the mouth.

Immediate evaluation and treatment help alleviate pain and prevent further damage. I aim to see you within 24-48 hours of your initial contact and will assess the problem, provide temporary or permanent solutions, and offer advice for managing discomfort at home.

Timely intervention can prevent complications and ensure prompt relief, restoring oral health and comfort.

Dental Check-Up

A dental check-up is a vital part of maintaining oral health. During this appointment, I will examine your teeth, gums, and mouth, looking for signs of decay, gum disease, and other oral issues.

Regular check-ups every six months are recommended to help prevent dental problems and ensure optimal oral hygiene.

A routine dental checkup includes the following essential steps:

  • Examination of your teeth, gums and soft tissue of the mouth
  • X-rays to get a better look at the tooth roots and jaw bone
  • Bespoke advice and support on caring for your teeth at home
  • Fluoride treatment, if clinically required
  • Oral cancer screening

Oral Hygiene

An oral hygiene appointment focuses on maintaining optimal dental health. At your appointment, I will thoroughly clean and scale the teeth. Removing plaque, tartar, and stains helps to reduce the risk of cavities and gum disease.

I also provide personalised oral hygiene instructions, including proper brushing and flossing techniques. Additionally, the appointment may include fluoride treatment to strengthen tooth enamel and prevent decay.

Regular oral hygiene appointments contribute to a healthy smile and overall well-being.

Periodontal Treatment

Periodontal treatment focuses on preventing and managing gum disease, which affects the tissues supporting teeth.

It includes scaling and root planing to remove plaque and tartar from below the gum line, as well as surgical procedures for advanced cases. Effective periodontal care prevents tooth loss, reduces gum inflammation, and promotes healthy gums and bone.

Regular dental check-ups and good oral hygiene are essential to maintaining periodontal health and preventing recurrence of gum disease.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening is a cosmetic dental procedure designed to reduce the appearance of stains and discolouration, as well as to brighten the colour of teeth. It involves applying a bleaching agent to the teeth, which breaks down stains and brightens the enamel. This can be done in-office or at home using custom-fitted trays.

While teeth whitening is generally safe and effective, it may not be suitable for everyone, and results can vary depending on individual factors like tooth colour and enamel thickness.

During your consultation, I will check that you are a suitable candidate for teeth whitening and advise you on the best treatment plan for your needs.

We offer three different teeth whitening systems:

Boutique Teeth Whitening
This home teeth whitening involves custom made trays that fit your teeth, tooth whitening gel and full instruction on how to use the system. It is completely adaptable to your schedule. You can either wear them for 1.5 hours per day, 4 hours per day or overnight. The results can be seen in 2 weeks.

Enlighten Teeth Whitening
Enlighten is a professional teeth whitening that guarantees the lightest natural shade B1 for your teeth.
It combines at-home treatment with whitening trays and gel for 2 weeks and a follow-up treatment in surgery.

In office teeth whitening
In office teeth, whitening uses a special light to activate the whitening solution and accelerate the treatment. This is the perfect choice if you want to achieve results quickly, or if you are unsure about handling the trays and whitening solution at home.

Tooth Jelewery

Tooth jewellery involves the application of small gems or decorative pieces to the teeth for aesthetic enhancement.

These are usually affixed using dental adhesive and do not require drilling or damage to the tooth structure. The procedure is quick, non-invasive, and temporary, allowing for easy removal if desired.

Tooth jewellery is popular for its unique and fashionable appearance, adding a touch of sparkle to one’s smile without impacting dental health.

Night Mouth Guard

Night mouthguards, also known as nocturnal bite plates or splints, are protective devices worn over the teeth during sleep.

They helps to prevent teeth grinding (bruxism) and clenching, which can cause tooth wear, jaw pain, and headaches. Night mouthguards are custom-made to ensure a comfortable fit and effective protection.

Regular use can alleviate symptoms and protect dental health, promoting better sleep and preventing long-term damage to the teeth and jaw.

Composite Fillings

Composite fillings are tooth-coloured restorations used to repair cavities and minor tooth damage. Made from a blend of plastic and fine glass particles, they offer a natural appearance and strong, durable bond.

I apply the composite resin in layers, hardening each layer with a special light before shaping and polishing it for a seamless look.

Composite fillings are preferred for their aesthetic appeal and ability to match the natural shade of your teeth.

Composite Bonding

Composite bonding, also known as aesthetic fillings, is used on front teeth to repair chips, cracks, or gaps and enhance the smile’s overall appearance.

The procedure involves applying tooth-coloured resin, shaping it to the desired form, and hardening it with a special light. This minimally invasive treatment provides immediate results, giving your smile a natural look.

Composite bonding is popular for its affordability, quick application, and near-perfect colour match with your natural teeth.

Root Canal Treatnment

Root canal treatment is a dental procedure that’s carried out to help save an infected or damaged tooth. It involves removing the infected pulp, cleaning and disinfecting the inner canals, and then sealing them with a filling material.

This procedure relieves pain, eliminates infection, and prevents tooth extraction. Typically completed in one or two visits, a root canal restores the tooth’s function and durability.

Afterward, a crown may be placed for added protection and strength.

Tooth Extraction

Tooth extraction is a dental procedure to remove a tooth from its socket in the jawbone. It’s typically performed when a tooth is severely decayed, damaged, or impacted, or to make space for orthodontic treatment.

The procedure can be simple or surgical, depending on the tooth’s condition. Local anaesthesia ensures minimal discomfort. Post-extraction care includes managing bleeding, reducing swelling, and avoiding strenuous activities to promote healing and prevent complications like dry socket.
